The golf course is great to visit in the morning upon rising before hitting the beach. There’s nothing better than hitting the links early in the morning and then spending the rest of the day relaxing on the Ocean City NJ beaches.

The golf course is set in the scenic meadows of the bay area and provides a beautiful and fun way anyone can enjoy Ocean City NJ golf.
Since this is a public golf course all ages are welcome, however, children under 12 years must be accompanied by a guardian.

You can either use your own clubs or rent golf clubs from the Proshop. You can also rent handcarts and golf carts if you wish.
The Ocean City Municipal Golf Course is located on Bay Avenue at 26th Street. Winter hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and summer hours are 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  You also may want to visit the pro shop as well as purchase a membership if you intend to golf for any extended period of time.

To keep our beaches safe, clean, and fun, Ocean City, NJ requires beach visitors to have beach tags before you’re allowed on the beach.

You can purchase beach tags for the season, the week, or the day at the Ocean City, NJ City Hall located at 9th Street and Asbury Avenue or at the Welcome Center on the Route 52 Causeway coming into Ocean City, NJ on the right hand side.

There also is the choice of a seasonal tag which are available for purchase in the pre-season, before Memorial Day, at a discounted rate.

Pre-season purchases can be made at Ocean City NJ City Hall (9th Street and Asbury Avenue), the 46th Street Post Office (on West Avenue), the Welcome Center on the Route 52 Causeway or the Information Center at the Music Pier (on the Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace).

However, when you stay at the Blue Water Inn, you’ll get your beach tags for free with just a $20.00 cash deposit per tag. Once your tags are returned to the office, you’ll be refunded your deposit!  Sorry we only allow two tags per room or as available.

If you are disabled, you should know the beaches have accessible wheelchair service for mobility limited individuals of all ages.

“Surf Chairs” provide an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the surf and sand on Ocean City, NJ beaches.

If you’re not the type of person who can just lay around on a beach that’s OK too!  Ocean City NJ beaches offer surf fishing, kayaking and sailing. Kayak and sailboat rentals are available.
